Have Model 2.9 and 1.4 the same logic board?

I buy now (november 2014)the model 21.5 2.9 mhz, with 8 GB RAM, the guide is EMC 2638 or EMC 2805?

So in the future if i want upgrade memory is it possible?

Is this your machine? Although Apple does not intend for one to upgrade the RAM after purchase, and doing so is difficult, it is possible.
