wont charge or connect to usb
My tablet suddenly stopped charging, computer does not register when attached to usb and flashes on and off for a few minutes then dies.

The USB charging port is worn out and needs to be replaced. Look over the IFIXIT repair guide for your tablet and if you feel comfortable doing the repair yourself, you can order a new one from Amazon, ebay or from IFIXIT. When ordering the replacement, make sure to get the one specific to your tablet model and your carrier (Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile) etc. and go from there.
If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, you have two options. Ask a friend or family member who is proficient in this area to do it, OR you can take it to your neighborhood phone/tablet repair shop and pay them 150 bucks and up to complete the repair for you.

galaxy note need to be kept on a charge for at least 1 hr before it will come to life.
after the battery has been dead for a while...
buy some new usb leads make sure you get a original galaxy usb lead!
you can also try holding the power button while holding the volume buttons
when its plugged in.
