Wii will "eat" discs, but not eject them.

My wii fell with a disc in it. When I tried to eject the disc it would not eject. I took my wii apart and manually ejected my disc. Then I put it back together and tried putting in the disc again. The wii "ate" the disc but would not eject it. What could the problem be?
