Why won't the lens respond/move?
I'm trying to take pictures and record videos, but the lens is not responding to my actions through the camera.

The area around the lens may be dirty, and that might be preventing the lens from moving. If you remove the dirt from around the camera's cannon you might be able to adjust the lens. Another possibility is that the lens may be broken.
