Hello,
Your laptop can be hot due to a broken heatsink, the fan (and all the motherboard) can be full of dust or because the thermal paste between the heatsink and the processor is too old.

My HP Elitebook 8540w was so hot I could have fried and egg on it. I went here and followed the instructions and it is cool now. Worth a try.

How do you use your Laptop? maybe the board process too many applications try to uninstall the software that you didn't use if it doesn't work try to reseat all the Hardware components.. and clean the motherboard using brush.. also the Heatsink and try to replace the thermal paste..
