Yes, have a go at repairing it yourself. They're really easy. Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive and be careful around the top right hand corner as the power button ribbon cable is easily damaged.

Or, you can try to do the repair yourself and save yourself a few bucks. Replacing the screen on an iPad 2 isn't that difficult.
