Why is my washing machinedoesnot work.?CL is in the display

CL isn’t an error code — it means Child Lock is ON.

When Child Lock is active, the washer won’t respond to buttons, so it looks like it’s not working.

To turn it off:

Press and hold “Temp” + “Rinse” together for 3–5 seconds.

On some models it’s “Rinse” + “Spin” or “Option” + “Rinse”.

As soon as Child Lock turns off, the CL disappears and the machine works normally again.

If CL comes back immediately, one of the panel buttons may be stuck, but most of the time it’s just the lock feature.
