What is the correct part to replace? Cracks below the front glass.

I have a 4th gen iPad with wifi+GSM. There are cracks below the front glass, but the LCD does not appear to be damaged and looks fine below the cracks. The front glass is not cracked on the surface either. A few legs of the crack appear to go below the black outline of the from panel. Is this the digitizer/front panel assembly that needs to be replaced?

Hi Noah,

It sounds like just the digitizer needs to be replaced. It is possible for the cracks to be on the bottom side of the digitizer, where you can't feel them and they appear to be on the LCD. If the LCD is working fine, then go ahead and order a new digitizer, shouldn't be more than $20 or so. Good luck!
