My laptop fails to boot beyond windows logo quite often. On investigation, I found that whenever the CD drive is absent in boot manager, the laptop fails to boot completely. Is it due to loose connection or something else?

Try re-downloading the software, or go to the command prompt and diagnose your computer for any issues
