Harddrive being detected as an external but cannot see any files
Cannot see any files after being detected including windows files...

You used a a failing hard drive to store data? Data recovery services are outlandishly expensive. You could get an identical drive and try switching the boards. But you really need to think before you act.

No it was in perfect working condition before n used to work. But suddenly it has failed

The harddrive was first being used as an internal harddrive, after some time it failed n could not be detected. As an external its being detected but i cannot see any files in it including the win files! Hope u understand now
I want to knw on how to retrieve the information!
