I bough an htc 626 verizon and out of the no where colored lines started appearing and now i cant see anything. Why? I bought it off craigslist and it was new. It came in the box with everything wrapped and the phone had never been activated. Is it possible that they knew about this. And what can i do to fix this?

I dont want to make assumptions about the seller, but anything is possible. You could have a bad screen or a bad board in the phone. Id try to do a hard reset to see if that helps. Im not sure what the procedure is for that model, but on other androids in the past it as been power and volume down or something similar to that.
