Is battery from 2015 MBA the same as the MBA 2011

Do you know if battery from MacBook Air 13" 2015 will work in a MacBook Air 13" 2011?

No. These batteries are not interchangeable. They are shaped differently (close, but not close enough to work), and they have different logic board connex.

Is your current battery dead or in need of being replaced? If not are you expecting the newer battery will give you more run time on battery?
