DX(Deal eXtreme) does not have replacement screens for the PSP 1000 in stock. I have no clue as to where to order one elsewhere. Is it possible to use a screen meant for a PSP 2000 instead?

the psp 1000 lcd can be found on many shop pages and on ebay (masses of them - so i would start searching there.)
BTW: buying "local" might be faster than some international order!!

No, also the 2000 screen is twice as expensive.
Check Buy.com. They seem to have both.

just ask your friends if they have an old psp they dont use or thats broken and just take out the hd screen its really isy and a psp 2000 screen dos,t work on 1000
