charging only in turned off mode
i have a problem with my iphone 4s . charging only in turn off mode. cant conect to pc.

Probably a good idea to try replacing the charging port dock. You can buy the parts from here, click on iPhone 4s on the top right hand side of this page to access guides and parts for that phone model.
You can try cleaning the charger port with a toothpick but usually it's faulty.
