Why is my charging cord smoking?
I plugged my usb port into a desktop in computers class and the end that goes into my acer tablet started to burn and smoke. This has happened twice, what is the problem?

The cord more than likely has a short. Throw it out and pick up a new one.
If it does it after that, its a severe problem with the charge port.
