Hi,
Connect an external monitor to the laptop and see what the display is like on it.
If the external monitor display is OK then you either have a faulty video cable, faulty video cable connection at either end or a faulty LCD screen.
If the external monitor display is the same as the laptop screen display then you have either a GPU fault or a motherboard fault.
