Cant get into main deskstop

From startup immediately press F-8 to boot into Advanced boot options, Select "Last known good configuration" It will not delete any files but it will go back to that last good hardware setup it saved.

You could also try Safe mode in that list and see if you can log in from that.

If that doesn't work, you could take the battery out, unplug it then hold the power button for 10 seconds,

Although this doesn't seem to be the case but its worth a shot.

If that doesn't work, Run the Built in Diagnostics:

Restart your computer.

2.When the Dell logo appears, press F12 key on the keyboard several times to open the One-time Boot menu.

3.Use the down arrow key on the keyboard to select Diagnostics and press the Enter key.

4.Follow the on-screen prompts and answer them appropriately to complete the assessment.

5.Write down any error codes listed
