Mine is also leaking but its because the blade is loose and liquid goes in where the blade post is.

My ninja is new. I am filling it only 1/2 way. Still I have leaks into the base. I am very unhappy with this appliance.

The rubber gasket inside the cap could have a break or a crack. It can be replaced if you follow this link for rubber gasket replacement.
