What is that black tape they use inside ipad 2?

The second generation of the iPad with Wi-Fi, GSM and CDMA models. Some models were refreshed before the iPad 3. Repair is difficult and requires heat and prying. Released on March 11th, 2011. Model numbers: A1395, A1396, and A1397.

What is that black tape they use inside ipad 2?

There seem to be strips of black tape used inside this and other apple products. They are not electrical tape, as they are much much thinner, and once you peel them off, they don't stick back on. What kind of tape is this?

It's another form of anti-static tape like this.

I would just search "anti-static tape for iPad" and most will do.

but this tape is black and feels TOTALLY different than kapton tape. I don't care if it's only functionally equivalent, I want the closest thing to the real deal (functional and cosmetic equivalency).
