1 Is my motherboard burned out?
On the motherboard of my MacBook Air mid 2009 (A1304). Are these "pins" appear to be charred. It is normal? And what is it for? Thank you for your answer, Daniel.

I have seen several computers with charred marks like that, but I wouldn't be too worried. If you have taken care of your computer and have never had it overheat, you can just wipe the marks off with isopropyl alcohol. Once you replace that admittedly disgusting thermal paste, you should be just fine.
