My son's Nintendo 3DS XL was recently frozen to where you can't do anything with it.
he has recently got it unfreeze and play a game but he can't get it to play any of his other games how can this problem be resolved
can you help with some kind of solution

Thanks for posting your question here.
First things you want to look at are.
1. Has the device been updated recently?
If not then update
2. Are the games downloads or Hard copies?
If they downloaded the file may be corrupted and will need to be deleted and reinstalled
3. Is the SD card inserted fully ?
Remove and reinsert
My 3dsxl was doing the same thing when I was gone on a business trip and the only thing that seemed to fix it was updating the actual device .

Ds3 is now frozen how can i unfreeze it and get into the settings
Cant update it if i cant get into the settings
Try the steps below for a Hard reboot see if that helps with anything.
1.Press and hold the POWER Button down until the system resets; this may take some time.
2.Once the system is powered down, press the POWER Button once to turn it back on.
Another question is did your son by chance download any software to hack games like homebrew ?
No he didnt down load anything just playing a ds game
