The apple logo is on the display continuelessly
the Apple logo is on display all the time. I have discharged the battery till dead and still no change which has resolved the problem in the past. The ipod will not functionand will only show the Apple logo

@ihotrod what exact model is your iPod? You tried to place it in disk mode to check the HDD? You tried to place it in diagnostics mode to check the functions?
