Can Battery corrosion damage be fixed?

The batteries corroded and now it won't turn on even with new batteries. I tried to clean it but I didn't really know what to do,

ramseyclan2 , Use the links below to see how to clean corrosion off of battery contacts. If not really bad, I use an ink eraser on a pen (slightly abrasive) to clean and then blow out dust/debri with canned compressed air. Last link will show how to remove back in case you have to dig a little deeper. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I have the same issue and I'm using a utility knife to (very carefully) scrape corrosion off of the battery contacts. Don't get it in your eyes (safety glasses or goggles maybe)! Also try to remember to take the batteries out if you're not going to be using it for a while.
