nx300 wont switch on

my nx300 wont switch on or talk to a PC, problem started when I tried to fit a manual adapted lens to the nx body and I possibly shorted the pins, this being the case any idea which component will most likely have been damaged? I dont want to buy say a motherboard just to find the problem is elsewhere.
