Likely the trace is broken. Firstly, clean the capacitor I have pointed to in the picture, and the black diode to the right of it, using isopropyl. They are either burnt or damaged by the liquid, in which case it is worth replacing (capacitor value below, I suspect the diode just needs cleaning).

Then, measure the voltage on the capacitor where I have instructed in the picture. If it is around 25V, this is fine and you can proceed with the trace.
On the LCD connector, pin 1 is ground, 2 and 5 are unconnected, so you just need to run a wire from pin 3 and 4 to the capacitor (where I have drawn an arrow in the picture). Only do this if you are seeing a high voltage on the capacitor, otherwise you will be wasting your time.
Double check your pins on the connector to make sure they are making a good connection too, looks like it is slightly further forward than normal, and I can see one bent pin in the picture.
