Why is the lever not moving?
When I position the bottle and push on it the lever does not move.

Make sure the bottle is inserted correctly. The bottle should be inserted and then pushed back, it does not screw in. Also, the nozzle tab may be in the incorrect starting position. The tab should start angled away from the bottle.
