Not getting fuel to motor. Don't hear fuel pump when turn key on. Fuse is good on fuse block. Thought there might be a relay. Also looking for a repair manual in anticipation of replacing the fuel pump. Any help with testing circuit greatly appreciated.Is there a way to put power directly to fuel pump?

What year is your Mazda? I think it used to be that he fuel pump relay was the green relay in the under-hood fuse block. Check on your fuse block cover and see if you find EGI Main Relay ('Electronic Gas Injection' Main Relay) But not sure for yours since I do not know what year it is. When you ask about putting power direct to the fuel pump. Do you mean all the time and thus bypassing any error? Please elaborate on that so that we can try to find a solution. Good luck.

Fuel pump relay is white but not upper right thats egi electronic
gas injection
Fuel pump relay is labeled circuit relay

The injector 40 amp fuse and egi relay work together if fuse is blown under the hood it will not pump fuel.

I have a 06 Mazda Tribute manual transmission when I’m driving it turns off on me and there is no power at all. What can it be?

I have a 88 Mazda 626 dx with the 2.2L. The car was stalling out but stayed on the force feed fuel but turned off when let off the gas. Replaced the fuel pump fuel filter spark plugs and wires cap and rotor ignition coil and battery and it just cranks with no start I pulled the pump out and ran direct power to the pump and it ran good. But still not getting any fuel in the lines to start. When thru all the fuses and the only one that was blown was the fog lights. Can’t seem to find the fuel pump relay. I did unplug and test all the plugs for the relay to see if their getting power without a crank and they all seem too. So I’m stuck. Please help. No inursa switch either….

2002 Mazda 626. Replaced fuel pump. That was that problem. Car started right up. Pain in the #@#$@ to drop tank and replace.

I have a similar problem, but in a 2001 Mazda 121 Metro "Shades". Doesn't seem to be getting power to the fuel pump
