Should my cooling fan be on all of the time?
it seems like the fan never shuts off, should my cooling fan be on all of the time? how can I tell if it is working?

not all the time unless your computer is under very heavy load, and you can usually hear it whirring or, unless the vents are clogged with dust, feel the air it pushes out computer
