My ice dispensing switch activates alone and spills ice

Hi my Kenmore 51833 26.1 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator w/ Grab-N-Go Door

Ice dispenser didn't stop when I pushed the switch and kept dispensing ice. Eventually it stopped dispensing ice on demand and instead it activates alone making the sound as if it is dispensing. Right now the ice maker is empty because it activates alone and ice spills all over I turned on and off the refrigerator but it continues to activate and deactivate alone.
