My moms iBook G3 powers on, but comes to a gray screen with the rotating circle and never proceeds any further. It done this once before and I reset the PRAM which seemed (at the time) to have fixed it, but now we are back to square one again.
The iBook is a 12" 800mhz w/ 256 mb RAM. If more info would help, let me know and I'll try to get it ASAP.

Start up from your system installation disk and go to the second page pull down menu Utilities - Disk Utility and see if you can repair your hard drive. If the hard drive fails to show it will need to be replaced.
