1 Battery replacement every 2 months
Hi,
I have an iPhone 5s for now 3 years and a half. The original battery lasted as long as 2 years and a half before dying, so I then replaced it by buying new ones on the Internet.
However, the new batteries I bought (3 or 4 for now) only last 2 months before dying too, so I got to replace them quite frequently.
During the first month of use, they usually work great and have a good capacity, but by the second month, their capacity drop very quickly and my iPhone doesn't start anymore.
Do you have an idea on the cause behind this? Could it be the logic board that is getting dysfunctional and draining the batteries very fast? Or am I just buying bad batteries?
Everything else works fine on the iPhone, I even tried a reset to make sure it wasn't iOS's fault but it didn't change anything.
Should I consider my iPhone dead or is it possible I only got bad batteries?

There are 2 things. Either your iPhone is dead. Or the batteries your getting are very cheap. How much do you pay for the batteries?

Usually around 20 bucks each

Do you buy them from the same person? Or different sellers?

A better question is, where are you purchasing them from?
Have you tried an iFixit sourced battery?

Yea, they are 15 bucks at ifixit, for a genuine battery. Your getting ripped off.
