Re-installing carriage bar retaining brackets and springs

I have a HP Photosmart C309a, which would no longer print a printer status report. I tried several attempts to clean the print heads, but that did not help. I noticed a lot of ink build-up at the right side on the plate that holds the carriage, so I decided to take the printer apart to see if i could identify the problem.

When I removed the right side panel, I could not believe the amount of ink. The print head cleaner and all of the pads were completely saturated. I removed the ADF, both sides , the back and top panels. To get to the ink pump for cleaning the mess out of that area, I had to remove the carriage plate and rod. My biggest mistake is that I did not take a photo of each side of the carriage rod retaining brackets and springs before removing them.

I now have the print head cleaning mechanism and absorption pads cleaned, back in place and ready to work, but I cannot figure out how the plastic brackets and retainer springs that hold the carriage bar are supposed to go back in.

If anyone has a C309a with the left and right side covers removed, could you take a photo of the right and left carriage bar plastic retainers and springs , so I can see their proper orientation? I am at a point that I cannot continue the assembly.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
