Why is my dash brake light on when driving?
my dashboard brake light stays on while driving the car. I have good brakes because my mechanic checked them.

christy, it means one or more of the following, the brake fluid is low, the parking brake lever is either up or the circuit for the parking brake switch is shorted, or if the battery light is also on, the car needs a new alternator. Also check your rear brake lights and make sure they are all functioning. Since we are talking brakes here,you should have a mechanic check it out for you. Hope this helps a bit and good luck to you.
