Why won't my DVD disk turn when trying to read?
Anybody know how it looks to put the rubber band around d the pulleys to get the disk rotating to read

Brandon Cavin start with these guides Sony DVP-SR200P and if you have your DVD drive already disassembled, post some images of what you see with your question. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. It will allow us to see what you see.
this should help to see how the belt is routed.
