battery charge problems power book 17 g4

start with the battery charged. The ac adapter don't charge the battery. I try to unmount the battery but it don't start and the led remain off (no green or orange). I try to change ac adapter but it don't start. It is possible that the broblem is in "DC-In Board"?

Use a multimeter to test the output of the AC adapter. If it's good, then replace the DC IN port. Here's how to do it: PowerBook G4 Aluminum 17" 1-1.67 GHz DC-In Board Replacement
