How can I get my Sam4s180B to open?
It says closed and we can't change it. Therefore we can't use it.

Sometimes, as long as the drawer is unlocked, there is sometimes a little switch or lever on the bottom of the register that you can use to open the drawer.

It isn't the drawer, it is the keyboard itself. The manual says it stays closed until a clerk is signed in. I can't do that if the keyboard is locked.
It is not the cash drawer, but the cash register keyboard. It is in the closed mode. The manual says it requires a clerk to be signed in. I can’t do that because the keyboard is frozen while in the closed mode.
