Where is the M2 slot?
Opened asus zen aio pro 240ic and can't find where to put the m2 drive. I hope to help.

Remove the motherboard. It is on the back side opposite the cmos battery next to the sata connector.

The M.2 slot is near the SATA connector on the back of the motherboard while you open the machine. And it works with M.2 SATA SSD. If you plug in a M.2 PCIe SSD, the machine will not recognize that SSD. If you enter the BIOS setup interface, you can find the PCIe and NVME setting option are gray, and the PCIe controller is 0. So I guess this motherboard can not install PCIe equipments.
By the way, the memory slots are on the same side of motherboard. They are covered by a silver-color metal shield. And the spec is DDR4 SO-DIMM 2133 MHz.

I could not see the M2 slot in the pictures. It should be near the SATA connector and may be under the black plastic cover.
