I just replaced the mute button and the front pannel. The display was working before the disassembly now nothing. I've disconnected and reconnected the lcd connector a couple of times already but still nothing. The phone does ring when called so I think everything else is working. What should I try next

Flip mute switch on/off about 2x and then hold power and home button at once. Do all this while it is plugged in. Hold the buttons until you see the Apple come up, essentially resetting the phone. This is a hard reset.
