MacBook stuck in a boot loop

Block Image

This is the 1st screen that shows up upon turning the laptop on.

Block Image

This is the 2nd screen. This restarts the laptop and takes it back to the 1st screen.

Block Image

This is the eventual last screen that shows until you turn the system off or restart it.

It seems the Operating System bricked during the last update after Yosemite.

You'll need to re-install your OS as something is corrupted.

Boot up in recovery mode (holding R key when you restart) that should allow you to start. But before you do anything you want to create a bootable USB thumb drive following this guide: How to create a bootable macOS Sierra installer drive or this guide if you have High Sierra: How to create a bootable macOS High Sierra installer drive

The reason you want the external OS installer is you'll need to do a complete wipe of the drive and re-format it. If you have anything important make a backup while you can before you do move forward.
