My aiport wont recognize ethernet port.

My airport just stopped recognizing the ethernet port. It says ethernet not connected so you cant even downgrade firmware even if that was the issue. Anyone else had this problem?

What is the color the front LED Green or Amber?

Are you able to access the unit via WiFi using the AirPort utility?

Have you tried resetting the unit yet?
