Is it possible to change battery on asus chromebook flip c302?
I cannot find any info on google is it possible to change c 302 battery if yes how hard is it ?

It is possible to change the battery and it isn't that hard. Make sure you unscrew the screws that are hiding under the rubber padding first tho because I didn't realize they were under there. Nothing was damaged tho. All you have to do is remove the screws along the outside and then pry open the back. Once you pry open the back, unscrew the batter from it's holding place and gently lift it out of the computer. It will be taped to a few things (I dont know the technical term) but that's ok, just slowly peel the tape off. At the end of the colorful chords, it will be snapped into place, all you have to do is gently unsnap it. There might be a black foam rectangle piece stuck to it but taking it off gently is ok. Once the battery is out, screw the screws that held the battery in place back in so you don't lose them and reattach everything. Hopefully this helps! I don't know where to find a new batter tho because I am also looking haha but as long as the laptop is plugged in, it will work without a battery.

Took me a while to find but if you google “C21N1613” that should be the part number for the C302 BATTERY. I bought one from ebay and it works fine. Battery is easily replaceable by removing a couple of screws and the connector pin of course.

@albert679s The only thing that may be of difficulty is actually finding the battery online as I scowered the internet with no luck.

I have the ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 and it keeps shutting off at 30%. The only way it will stay on is if I plug it in. Because it has a lithium iron battery, I don’t think the battery is exhausted. What should I do? Is this a situation in which I should replace my battery?

I have the same issue! I've been doing some googling and found instructions to do a battery test. My battery health is at 71% and my stock charging cable powers other devices just fine, but when plugged in my battery test results tell me that my battery is discharging. Have you had any luck in figuring out what to do in your situation? I'm planning to do a hard reset after I backup my downloads.
