The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 1998 in the United States. "C" indicated two-wheel drive and "K" indicated four-wheel drive. The aging C/K light-duty pickup truck was replaced with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra names in 1999 in the United States.

Radiator plug on a 2003 Chevy Avalanche?

I want to flush the radiator but I can’t find the plug to drain the radiator please help me find it.

Usually on plastic tanks of the radiator, there is a screw to undo, or a drain valve that you turn.

On aluminum radiators, its a pitcock.

If you can’t find it, just undo the bottom hose the water will come out :) You will need 1-2 5gal buckets. If you are going to do that, buy a thermostat and thermostat gasket and silicon and 1 gal antifreeze.

Take note if its red or green antifreeze. Tell the parts guy what color it is.

You want to just drain and fill, pop the bottom hose if you can’t find the black plastic flat valve sticking out the tank.
