I gave an original Colecovision that once hooked up to a tv using RCA adapter does not work. All that I get is snow colored screen on either channel 3 or 4. I would like to get this repaired/upgraded. Can you help or give me additional information.

The RF modulator in the ColecoVision is known to be a weak point in the video output circuit. Even when they were relatively new, they weren't very good and drifted over time. It's quite likely that is your issue. The best solution is to get an A/V mod and install it in the console. There are modern drop-in solutions that require minimal soldering.
