Is there any way I can disable the microphone?

The recording quality is nice, I do it through jacks from my pc to the mic input, but the on board mic also works during the process so it picks up every little sound in the room.

Is there any way I can completely disable the on board micophone? Or any efficient way to cover it up? Let me know!

(okay this is really interesting, I read the manual, says the built in mic is automatically disabled when I record from the mic input, but nope, I wish it were like that.)

The external mic socket has a switch within it. While this one is a more complex version being stereo it should help explain

You’ll need to open the unit up to gain access to the back side to check the contact surfaces are properly aligned and clean.

Isn’t there something in the terms of, switch/button/something that i can disable the mic totally with it?

Because even if I opened it up, I wouldn’t manage to do anything, I have zero, ZERO, knowledge when it comes down to hands on with equipment of this kind.

I guess the diagram confused you. The socket is more than a set of contacts to move the signal from your external mike. Look again at the right diagram focus on the Red arrows on the left these are the 'switch' breaking the signal. In this case the switch action is not working properly.

I think you'll need to find someone local to you to help you. All I can do here is offer an explanation on what happening. I can't fix it from afar.
