White smoke from passenger side of hood

There is white smoke coming from under my hood of my jeep liberty. My heat gauge is not going up though. It is only doing it when i am stopped at stop lights after driving for about a 10 to 15 minute timeframe. It seems to be worse if i have just come from a backroad with unavoidable holes. It smells like antifreeze but my coolant resevoir still has antifreeze. Its not low. What else could it be? Or is there maybe a hose loose?
