So i was sleeping and suddenly i accidentally dropped my phone and it was charging so both fell and i realized my charger is bent. Please help if not my parents are gonna kill me.
here it is. it looks like it’s never going to be fixed :(((
update: i can’t charge my phone

Like Owen said,it’s probably not worth it. You can get the apple oem cable for $20. There are $10 cables too,but some of them are not safe in the case of a voltage surge.

I mean you can buy a new cable from Apple for around $20. Or go to a gas station and just buy one for a few dollars. You could try bending the cable you have now back to its place but the fact the it doesn’t work means you should probably just throw it away.

Honestly I can)t let go of things that easily so throwing it away will be hard and I am a bit stubborn, so Ima keep trying >:)

i know exactly what you mean, but sometimes broken is broken.
mine was severely bent, idk bout you but when my phone is charging for a long time, the charger can be bent more easily because of the heat, mine used to be 110° while it was charging and sitll very hot i bent it very slowly and carful kt and now it’s at 30° but now i have it tilt it at an angle to make sure it gets charged

Where it is bent would be extremely difficult to repair without replacing the end which defeats the point of repair. Also it could be a potential fire hazard if not done correctly.
