HDMI 1 Loading Screen is Black But Everything Else is Working

My family and I use a firestick (Second Gen., I believe), and I've recently learned how to watch movies using it (Popcorn TV). I also realized Amazon Prime Video was included so I decided to rent a movie there. Was talking so I paused the movie and went to unpause it but it refused to unpause, wouldn't let me exit/back button to the loading screen, but the volume buttons were working + I could switch inputs from HDMI 1 to antenna. Switched back to HDMI 1 and realized the screen was completely black; its been this way for the last few days and while I can still access everything, including APV via apps preinstalled, but now I'm at a loss. Unplugged the HDMI cable and the screen gave me a typical “weak or no single" instead of its usual black one. If it helps, we have a 55” Hisense Smart TV but I'm not sure what make (?) it is.

Edit: I might have actually unplugged the TV and the screen became black; I can't remember.
