Bought replacement battery. No charge capacity, no battery symbol.

Hi. Very, very limited understanding of the correct jargon and how things function, but was hoping someone might have an answer for me. I’d had some issues with overheating, noise, etc, recently and decided it was time to buy a new battery (after five years). I did so through this site (the Australian version for reasons of geography) and seemed to manage to follow the instructions correctly. I hope.

Anyway, I plugged my charge cable back in and turned the computer back on. The cable only shows an orange light, and while I can obviously use my laptop via A/C right now, the moment I unplug the cable, the laptop turns off. The battery symbol also no longer displays on my laptop. I tried reading a few Q&As around here, hoping for advice, but most was beyond my understanding. I did download coconutBattery, however. Details below.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You'll need to contact the Australian store to get a replacement as you got a bad battery.
