finneyss can be as simple as the notification that you have a new voice message. Let us know the exact model of your phone and if the exclamation point is in a red triangle and if your battery indicator still shows properly.

i have this also. model A405DL alcatel myflip. not red triangle. On front cover below date and time. battery indicator shows clearly.
