My S9 won't charge.
Hi,
My S9 one day suddenly stops charging with a “moisture detected” error. I never exposed it to any kind of moisture or water as far as I know. I went to a repair center, they opened it and blow it with a heat gun but still didn’t fix the issue.
So, I took it home and tried to fix it myself, I found a video on youtube which solved the problem for one day. (Basically, what the youtube video said was to turn off the phone, turn in on again and just when the samsung logo appears, plug in the charger). But after a day, the phone completely stops responding to a charger and won’t even show a moisture detected error anymore. Plugging it on a PC doesn’t work, ADB sideload doesn’t work, however download mode works though which allows me to flash a new firmware. But it still doesn’t charge even after flashing a new firmware.
So, I pretty much gave up and bought a new charging board, installed it and it again worked only for a day. I still can connect it to a PC on download mode and that’s about it.
It has been more almost half a year since this problem started, so even if there was moisture inside, I think there is enough time to dry up by now. I never even use this phone anymore because of the issue. If anyone have any idea on how to proceed on resolving this issue, please let me know. Thank you.
PS : Wireless charging works.

Since this isn't really an answer i'll post it as a comment. The healing factor seems to be time. My aunt had the same problem with her S8. She bought a new phone and used it. After about 2 weeks she asked me to get the pictures off her S8 und just for fun i tried to do so using the usb connection. It worked like a charm. It even charged using her charger, which didn't work at all before.
